Lu Jong

Lu Jong is an ancestral Tibetan practice from the Tantrayana and Bön traditions. It is a series of movements developed with the purpose of staying as healthy as possible. This practice helps to release blockages on a physical, mental and energetic level. In this way we can effectively fight diseases and imbalances, transforming negative emotions and increasing our vitality.

Lu Jong has its origin in Tibetan Medicine, where it is believed that disease is the result of an imbalance of the elements or humors (vital substances) of the body. By combining form and movement and using the breath properly, Lu Jong gently opens the channels of the body releasing blockages and redirecting energy. In this way the elements and humors in the body are harmonized, thus improving physical health, mental clarity and energy vigor.

This form of Lu Jong comes from the lineage of Tulku Lobsang. Tulku Lobsang brought the practice of Lu Jong to the West. Prior to that, he had been taught for years by various masters of several Tibetan Buddhist schools. This enabled him to collect and modify the exercises in order to adapt them to Western needs. The result is a comprehensive program of physical exercises that bring our body and mind into balance.

Suitable for people of any age and ability, this practice acts gently on the spine, guardian of our well-being. Lu Jong aids in healing processes and cultivates greater body awareness, inner sensitivity, and mental concentration, which is the basis for any spiritual practice.

Despite being very simple, Lu Jong can change your life.
